I hear my name

Wednesday's Word

The man who enters by the gate is the shepherd of his sheep. The watchman opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice.

Baaaaaaa

He knows your name, your thoughts, aspirations, hopes and needs.  He precisely knows how to complete and fulfill them for you. He is the only way for you to ever know safety.
He is the Door to LIFE for you, both now and forever. He is the One who died in your place, so that you might become truly alive. When the “wolf” came to the place of the “sheep,” He stood between you and the wolf, so that you do not need to know the agony of eternal death. There are others who are said to be some kind of “door” to life with God. But the reality is that all such are “thieves and robbers” (John 10:8), who actually want to “kill and destroy” (John 10:10).

Jesus Christ will truly give you “LIFE…” and you will “have it more abundantly” than you ever thought possible.
The Son of God, Jesus Christ, does something wonderful for His little ones, His “sheep:” He enables us to become able to really LISTEN for the first time. Jesus said that His sheep “know His voice” and they follow Him. He is speaking to you right now.
His Cross reaches everywhere, into every time and place, even reaching as far as your need and mine. He knows your name. He knows your need. He is waiting for you right now.
Will you listen? Will you follow the Lord?
Lord, I “hear” Your call. I see that You gave Your life for me. Please forgive me for not listening in the past – let me listen now, and please open the Door for me. In Jesus Name. Amen.
