I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead. I think "to know him" requires complete surrender of ourselves, in that, we are naked, vulnerable, and open - so that we can be made perfect in his image. Only then can we begin to see and appreciate the magnitude of his unconditional love for us!
