REMEMBER
GO:
Wow! That word hit me square between the brows. Heavy but quickly turning to recognition that I am free.
Back in '09 I shared my "I am from" story with this here blog. It was a painful process but where His light shines, His healing begins.
You are my lamp Lord, You turn my darkness into light.
He reached right into my pit of despair and commanded His light to shine out. To shine out from my heart to give me the light of His glory
and the ice melted.
He has blessed me greatly with a new life and new memories made.
Every now and again a voice from the past steps forward and shouts to me. Glaring directly in my eyes, almost mocking. Even moments ago as I glanced at The Gypsy Mama's word REMEMBER.
Ahhh His sweet illumination fills my heart, soul, body and memory cells. PTL
Stop
It is sweet indeed.
ReplyDeleteME too! I had to delete and write something new.. because I didn't want to glorify the old yuck... funny what remembering does.

p.s...i know you are not supposed to edit.. but what? are the gypsy police going to come after me..lol
Interesting that you said a voice shouts at you. In my post I shared how the enemy screamed, "DON'T TOUCH THAT TV" before it was evicted! :o)
ReplyDeleteGod is so good to us! I am grateful!
Bless you!
Beth
I just read your "I am from" post ... and you do have much to remember COMING OUT OF. What a story God gives each of us - some more painful, some more joyful - but all part of HIS plan!!
ReplyDeleteGood words Conny! Thanks for stopping by.
ReplyDeleteAgain T, I laugh at your comment re; the gypsy police" I think you should share that with Lisa-Jo. She would get a giggle out of that =)
"He has blessed me greatly with a new life and new memories made."
ReplyDeleteAmen to that, sister!
Yes Amen! Thanks for swinging by Stacie!
