VISUAL ACUITY: Ones visual acuity is an indication of the clarity or clearness of one's vision. It's a measurement of how well a person sees. The word "acuity" comes from the Latin acuitas, which means sharpness.
PRESBYOPIA: Loss of focusing ability.
SCOTOMA: Dark "holes" in the visual field in which nothing can be seen.
