Visual acuity

Tuesday's Quotes

VISUAL ACUITY: Ones visual acuity is an indication of the clarity or clearness of one's vision. It's a measurement of how well a person sees. The word "acuity" comes from the Latin acuitas, which means sharpness.

PRESBYOPIA: Loss of focusing ability.

SCOTOMA: Dark "holes" in the visual field in which nothing can be seen.

For myself and every eye that may happen upon this page my prayer is this:

Father heap Your intelligence and discernment in knowing You personally, our eyes focused and clear, so that we can see exactly what it is You are calling us to do, grasping the immensity of this glorious way of life You have for Your followers, oh, the utter extravagance of his work in us who trust him—endless energy, boundless strength!
