Launching into wholeness

Staying true to the premise...

1st thought and 5 minutes.
Taking the plunge with Lisa-Jo and a throng of other fun women for 5 min of writing. Come what may, come what might.

Our word this week:

ACHE

go

Shuttle launch by James Vernacotola

Last week I spoke of launching out of the new year into a coarse, abrasive gritty place. Still here...but I am full of quiet gratitude and mostly peace. I am truly humbled and stilled at an outpouring of prayer, assurance and encouragement.
Thankful for His word, Holy Spirit and prayer.
Beholden to sisters in this space that we come to share words, hold hands and hearts.
Thank you!

I catapulted into January with health problems that persist today. Aches and pains that at times have taken the breath right out of my lungs. The unknown is a scary place but a place of growth in the unseen places.
I'm no longer in a nameless place and so thankful that soon this will be behind me and behind my family. Soon I will be whole again...for a time.

When your body fails, surely tribute must be paid to when health restores. This body, mortal and temporary gives way to knowledge that when it's course is accomplished, we run into Heavenly arms embrace.

Stop

HE has got you and you walk in His wake.

  6. Doing Beth Moore's "Living Beyond Yourself" Bible Study and this week is "The Joy of the Lord is Our Strength" - she (as only Beth can do) is breaking this down beautifully, but one quote of hers popped into my head when I was reading yoru blog and responses..."Sometimes God allows us to experience troubles because He desires to reveal His joy to us through restoration" I love that! And then she goes on to reference 2 Corinth. 1:3-4 - "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." I find this incredibly comforting! ;)Love you!
